Program Description

In the tradition of Thor Heyerdahl's KON TIKI, Robert Hobman and eight others sail the full expanse of the Indian Ocean from the Indonesian archipelago to Madagascar in a 60-foot replica of a Stone-Age outrigger canoe, the SARIMANOK, to prove that current inhabitants of Madagascar descended from Indonesians who migrated there 800 years earlier.
