Series Description

From the production team that created the popular and successful French in Action and Destinos, comes an English for Speakers of Other Languages telecourse--Connect with English. Shot on location in cities and towns across America, the series follows the story of Rebecca Casey, a music student traveling from Boston to San Francisco to follow her dreams. The continuing drama of Connect with English is built out of the issues that ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) students face every day. Each episode is followed by a segment in which real-life ESOL learners review the story and discuss key issues. Series release date: 1/7/1998
