Program Description

Series revolves around Sid Halley, a champion jockey turned Private Investigator. "Odds Against" - Hunt jockey Sid Halley's racing days are over after a serious accident. To get out of his depression, Sid decides to investigate the bad luck plaguing Seabury race course. "Trackdown" - York racehorse owner Jack Beater asks Sid to find out why all his horses are losing. "Gambling Lady" - Sid and sidekick Chico Barnes investigate the death of a valuable racehorse in a road accident.
