- Series Description
Food, glorious food- from intimate dinners to stylish lunches to lavish buffets - is the center of attention as Julia Child opens her new television series. This sequel to Julia Child and Company features brand-new recipes, out-of -the-ordinary menus, and unusual ways with old favorites, with each of the 13 new shows focusing around a specific meal or event. 13 Episodes, broadcast March-May, 1980. See Prime Time March 1980 for cover story.
- Program Description
Julia demonstrates a menu especially suited to friends who love to cook and like to join you in the kitchen. The UFOs are rock cornish hens, and Julia demonstrates a new method for broil-roasting the birds with wine, garlic, and cheese, and serving them atop a crusty brown cake of straw potatoes. Sliced oranges layered with blueberries make a beautiful dessert, topped with candied slivers of orange rind.
