A look at the evolution of the tango dance form over the past 100 years, from its roots in Argentina to its modern day popularity. Hosted by Raquel Ortiz and featuring Argentinean composer Hugh Potenza.
------------------------------
“Though popularly enjoyed as music to dance by (which Marlon Brando and Maria Schneider certainly did), the tango really is much more. Argentinian composer-arranger Hugo Potenza takes viewers on a 100-year journey through this rich and complicated musical legacy, offering up six different musical interpretations of the tango tradition.
