Series Description

FRONTLINE is investigative journalism that questions, explains and changes our world. Since 1983, FRONTLINE has served as PBS's flagship public affairs series. Hailed upon its television broadcast debut as "the last best hope for broadcast documentaries," FRONTLINE's stature is reaffirmed each week through incisive documentaries covering the scope and complexity of the human experience.

Program Description

To understand what has happened to Cuba, one must understand what has happened to its controversial and charismatic leader, Fidel Castro. The story of one of the world's longest lasting dictators - from the early days when his small guerrilla band launched a revolution from the Sierra Maestra Mountains to the present day as Cuba's defiant leader. With its economy under siege, the Cuban Revolution has turned into a struggle for food for its people.
