- Program Description
A simple shepherd's son discovers a dragon lurking in a cave high up on the Downs, The boy befriends the dragon, who is more inclined to compose poetry than attack frightened villagers. But the villagers send for the great St. George to slay the dragon. Between the three of them -- the boy, St. George and the dragon -- they concoct a peaceful plan for satisfying the villagers.
