Focusing on Boston's massive construction of the third Boston Harbor tunnel, this program travels inside the tunnel's steel tube sections already in place under Boston Harbor and spotlights some of the political and economic issues surrounding the project. Viewers will get updates on traffic routes, project designs and new technologies for toll collecting through footage shot on location and with computer aided design animation. Included are interviews with construction workers, transportation officials, project managers, design engineers, political leaders and others. Hosted by producer Arnie Reisman. It also reports on how traffic will be routed and seeks to allay concerns about the impact of the project on public utilities.
