- Series Description
Host Ben Wattenberg looks at the achievements of the free enterprise system in America. Series release date: 1977
- Program Description
Ben Wattenberg’s challenge to the “chorus of failure and guilt” this time around focuses on two allegations: first, that American consumption of resources exploits Third World countries and second that that consumption is consuming nonrenewable resources. According to Ben, “it just isn’t so, international trade is not a game in which if someone wins, someone else has to lose.” The case in point is Malaysia and the opposing point of view is presented by Stewart Udall.
