- Program Description
This light-hearted thriller is set in France in 1924. Vanity Fair is living in fortified state in her castle of Jezreel. Although the lady is undoubtedly a villainess of the deepest dye, the authorities have never had the evidence to take action against her. Then Richard Chandos, on a fishing holiday, finds the body of an Englishman in a river. He reports the matter and becomes enmeshed in efforts to investigate Vanity Fair.
