- Program Description
Take a tour around one of Cambridge’s forgotten squares, exploring the people and images that make up this typical, yet atypical, neighborhood. The Carabino Family will tell us what its like to run a small family market in the Square, they’ve been doing it since 1914. George Berkowitz, owner of the Legal Seafoods will give us a lesson in how to buy fresh fish. We’ll also hear what other of the Square’s people have to say about its history, problems, and future.
The Proposition Theatre has brought new life to the Square since they moved in two years ago. Michael will talk to the cast and find out how they like being in this unusually close knit neighborhood.
