Program Description

Somerville-based producer Joshua Seftel presents a half-hour portrait of the late senior citizen activist Frank Manning. In 1967, the retired union organizer from Boston began urging senior citizens to speak up for their rights. The program follows the rise and spread of the movement that developed into one of America's most powerful political lobbies.
