Program Description

MassDOT Chief The Mass. Department of Transportation (MassDOT), the recently established super agency, officially took over the state’s transportation infrastructure. The consolidation is part of the Patrick administration’s transportation reform that eliminates the Mass. Turnpike Authority, brings over 4,000 state employees and five overlapping transportation agencies into one organization. Guests: Jeffrey Mullan, Seretary and CEO, Mass. Luggage Fees Most airlines started charging passengers to check their baggage in 2008 when the airline industry was reeling from high fuel costs.
