"Discovering Women," narrated by Michelle Pfeiffer, presents the professional and personal stories of six notable women scientists whose work is invaluable to understanding the world. The women profiled range from those at the peak of their careers in the top of their fields to several who are up-and-coming. Their stories reveal how women in the 20th century have made choices, and sometimes sacrifices, to open doors through which the next generation of women can follows. Series release date: 1995
