Program Description

Sarah is pregnant again. "By a gentleman," she says, who rescued her from a downpour, plied her with brandy . . . of course, she doesn't know his name. Richard is surprised and delighted when Thomas, the chauffeur, comes to him and tells him he feels sorry for the poor girl and--provided he has Richard's blessing--will offer her his hand in marriage. His offer, like Sarah's story, seems too good to be true.
