Filmed a short while after Nikita Khrushchev’s ultimatum to the West, that within six months the Soviets would withdraw from East Berlin and turn over power there to East Germany, Louis Lyons interviews Clifton Daniel of the News York Times and the lecturer and writer, James P. Warburg, on the emerging crisis in Berlin. Produced by Joseph Lyford, Directed by Loyd Brydon.
Lyons poses the questions “Are we adequately informed about this critical issue?” And “how well have our foreign correspondents and our newspapers served us on the Berlin Crisis?”
