The animated and dramatic productions recall the magic of storytelling. Series release date: 1988

Program Description

Set in Bhutan, this program tells the story of a young boy whose family raises cows in a mountain village. When a teacher realizes the boy needs glasses, he tries to persuade the boy's family. "There's nothing wrong with his eyesight," the grandmother explains, "as long as he can count the cows." In the end, the boy does get his glasses and sees the world clearly for the first time.
