Hosted by Eric Sevareid. ENTERPRISE's pioneering use of the "case study" approach to business documents high level decisions as they are taking place in the executive boardrooms. ENTERPRISE deliberately shows decision making processes as they occur. Business is treated as a human endeavor rather than an economic phenomenon. It goes beyond the statistics and charts to show real people making critical decisions and then bearing the consequences. ENTERPRISE benefits from the expertise of the Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration (as Harvard professors act as advisors to each program.) Program Description

Hosted by Eric Sevareid. The Gloria Stevens' health club chain was one of the first in American business marketplace. Arthur Blasberg, Gloria Stevens' new president, is a veteran turnaround artist who has put his personal reputation on the line to rescue a sick company. Many of the salons are dowdy and old-fashioned without a lot of frill or sophistication. Blasberg and his staff focus on upgrading their program and ailing ad campaign. The company must rethink their image and strategic positioning within the marketplace. Confronting staff dissension and impatience among the franchisees, Blasberg continues to grope for a formula that will attract new customers without scaring off the old.
