- Program Description
In this program, workers, scientists and others document the earliest stages of the ambitious Boston-based public works projects--the depression of the central artery and the building of a third Boston Harbor tunnel. Through computer assisted designs animation, footage shot on location, and interviews, the program explains construction designs and traffic routes, examines the impact on local communities and looks at the jobs being created by the nation's largest public works project.
