From April 1967 WGBH Program Guide: “One of the most provocative men in the broadcasting industry, Friendly will speak at Brown University on April 5. Channel 2 will record the entire address and broadcast it the following evening, Thursday April 6 at 8 pm. Former President of CBS News, Friendly is now Television Advisor to President McGeorge Bundy of the Ford Foundation, and is supplying new imagination and drive in proposals for improving educational television programming. Following his talk, he will be questioned by a panel of representatives from the broadcasting profession.” Louis Lyons appears. Bill Cosel / Larsen
