Hosted by journalist Bill Kurtis, this series traces the history of American espionage in the 20th century. Interviews include such intelligence authorities as CIA Directors William Casey (in his last television interview), Richard Helms and William Colby; former White House officials Arthur Schlesinger, Dean Rusk and John Erlichmann; and former CIA employee Howard Hunt. Also included are archival footage and analysis of critical events in this century, from the creation of the FBI to the impact of the current Iran-Contra arms deal.
