- Series Description
FRONTLINE is investigative journalism that questions, explains and changes our world. Since 1983, FRONTLINE has served as PBS's flagship public affairs series. Hailed upon its television broadcast debut as "the last best hope for broadcast documentaries," FRONTLINE's stature is reaffirmed each week through incisive documentaries covering the scope and complexity of the human experience.
- Program Description
Prozac is the most prescribed antidepressant drug in America. This program travels to the Prozac capital of the world, Wenatchee, Washington, and talks to the "Pied Piper of Prozac," Dr. Jim Goodwin, a clinical psychologist who says Prozac is "probably less toxic than salt." Psychiatrist Peter Breggin and members of the Prozac Survivors Support Group, however, question the use of the drug.
