THREE SISTERS

Program Description

No connection to the Chekhov play, this Tim Hunter film began shooting shortly after he graduated Harvard in 1968. At one level it is the melodramatic unraveling of a tight circle of young people whose women are prey to poison; at another it is a compelling portrayal of the sometimes casual, sometimes deeply-rooted ties in human relationships. Cast includes: Tom Jones (Tommy Lee Jones); Susan (Stockard) Channing; and Howard Cutler.
