Series Description

A users guide to the cultural life of Boston and beyond. A new weekly half hour show for local distribution. Night Out blends the irreverence of Saturday Night Live, the taste of Greater Boston Arts and the conversational panache of Politically Incorrect. Part talk show, part performance piece and punctured by sophisticated, wry field segments, Night Out provokes conversation while delivering a critical local service. Each week, Night Out’s host, rotating guests and regular contributors preview and review coming events and cultural happenings. The diverse ensemble brings viewers a unique slant on movies, theater, visual and performing arts, food and more. The show is punctuated with 30 second Calendar segments, in the style of Greater Boston Arts calendar segments. Series release date: 2003
