Program Description

As black factional violence mounts, Nelson Mandela and F.W. De Klerk struggle to control the tumultuous course of change in South Africa. Examines the line-up of forces on each side -- Afrikaners and blacks -- and the divisions within each group that could disrupt negotiations for a new South Africa.
