- Program Description
As Israelis go to the polls, FRONTLINE/World takes the measure of the man widely considered Ariel Sharon's successor. Acting Prime Minister Ehud Olmert -- once more hardline than even Sharon -- supported the controversial Gaza withdrawal and has vowed to continue disengagement in the West Bank. With special access to Olmert, his family and closest advisors, producer Ofra Bikel explores what his election would mean for Israelis and Palestinians.
