Broadcast: August 1992 This program is a new feminist revue series of comedy and music that offers a humorous view of the world from the perspective of women. The program showcases locally- and nationally-known comedians, musicians and actresses in stand-up comedy routines, songs and sketches. Comedians Kate Clinton of Provincetown and Bertice Berry of Chicago take turns hosting the show. The cast includes stand-up comedians Lea Delaria, Margret Cho, Diane Nichols and Lizz Winstead; and ensemble performers Betsy Salkind, Ingrid Sonnichsen, Alison Marin, Kim Sykes and Lisa Vidal (who starred in WGBH's "In the Shadow of Love: A Teen AIDS Story.") Musical groups include Betty, Four Bitchin' Babes and Saffire -- The Uppity Blues Women. Series release date: 8/1992
