- Program Description
Host Peter Jennings brings us this program about unconditional love and the reality of caring for people with AIDS. This documentary tells the story of a small religious community in rural California that supports itself by growing and selling Christmas trees. Several years ago, the community began taking in foster children, some of whom were HIV positive. Filmed over two years, "Christmas at Starcross" is an intimate portrait of people who came forward during the time of an epidemic to love and care for a group of special children.
