Empowering Educators: The Power of Teamwork in Schools Dana Mohler-Faria, education advisor, Gov. Deval Patrick Karen Mapp, lecturer, education, HGSE Lynn Stuart, leadership coach, Center for Collaborative Education Mary Russo, principal, Richard J. Murphy School Harry Gilliam Jr., teacher, Richard J. Murphy School The National Commission on Teaching and America's Future, MetLife Foundation, and WGBH host a stimulating moderated panel discussion on why teamwork is integral to improving teaching quality and student achievement. Observe learning teams in action through a WGBH-produced eight minute video on Boston's Richard J. Murphy School, followed by a moderated discussion with panelists and the audience about the importance of teamwork in schools.
