Description from WGBH press release of the day: “ In the middle of Massachusetts woods, young men with turbans gather firewood. Their beards and turbaned heads seem strange and beautiful in the midst of the snow and rugged landscape.. They are members of the Guru Ram Das Ashram (a commune) and practice Kundalini Yoga and Sikhism, an outgrowth of Hinduism, that came to the United States during the last decade”.
