- Program Description
In “Gray Hairs” the fur of Wegman’s dog, Man Ray, is filmed in close-up. Through a series of slow dissolves, fur melts into fur. The soundtrack consists of Man Ray’s amplified sounds -- breathing, shifting positions, and licking his lips. In its simplicity the work takes on a meditative quality.
