Description from WGBH press release of the day: “ The spirit and the warmth of a shared family faith make tonight’s Religious America - ‘Crow River Christmas’ - a natural for any season. Shot in a small town in Minnesota, the story of a farmer, his family and the joy and devotion of their lives.”
“Filmed in Knapp, Minnesota, a town about 50 miles west of Minneapolis. Knapp is also the site of The North Crow River Lutheran Church. Swedish immigrants founded this church in 1870 and their descendants still form most of the congregation.” Participants: Art Christiansen; Rev. and Mrs. Theodore Lee; Peter Lee.
