When the Americans arrested me, they tied a rope around my neck along with others. Five to seven persons were tied together with me. They are all dead now. After they arrested me and tied a rope around my neck, they gave me a shovel and led me away.

When I reach the spot, they told me to dig. I dug and when I reached the body they told me to pull it up and leave it there and go on digging again. Again, I was told to pull the corpse up and leave it on the side there.

This was what I saw and this was what I was told to do. I had to pull the corpses out and leave them exposed there. By this time the corpses had all become quite putrid.

When the Americans forced you to dig the bodies up, did they do something with the bodies or did they just leave them there?
