Broadcast: Jan. 15-16, 1989. This program is a political thriller set sometime in the 1990's. A conservative government has been thrown out and a new government, headed by ex-steel worker and radical Socialist Harry Perkins assumes power. Harry's political life is at stake when the British Civil Service, the conservative press, and the Americans begin to close their net. He has entered a world where the establishment is out to stop implementation of his campaign promises and the issue becomes who runs the country? They have not reckoned with Harry's steely determination.
