Program Description

Drought and famine and Ethiopia - why the early warning signals were virtually ignored. In desert camps described as "the closest thing to hell on earth," nearly 100 children, old people, and the infirm were dying every day. They were dying while the U.S. and the Soviet Union argued over how to feed them and what to do about Ethiopia.
