This special series of programs is designed to create awareness and increase understanding of the tremendous challenges young black men face in American society. A collaboration of eight public television stations and the American Program Service, the programs will examine some of the critical issues facing young African American men today, challenge damaging stereotypes and offer a look at some positive actions that encourage a successful transition from adolescence to adulthood.
