Program Description

Otto Kerner, Commission on Civil Disorders, Milton S. Eisenhower, Commission on Violence, William W. Scranton, Commission on Campus Unrest, address a Brown University audience relative to their work heading three separate presidential commissions exploring the issue of violence and civil unrest in the United States (C. 1971). Speakers are introduced by Brown University President Donald F. Horning. The moderator for the discussion is Elmer E. Cornwell, Professor of Political Science, Brown University. Program concludes with questions from the audience. Originally recorded at Brown University, Providence, RI, 3/11/1971.
