The mission of THE HEALTH QUARTERLY is to examine the social, political and personal impact of the changes in America's health care system, and to provide a forum for debates and exploration those health care issues. In the first program, the alarming crisis of the uninsured is faced, spotlighting 3 companies and 3 families from opposite ends of the spectrum - the problems, the failed solutions, and prospects for the future. The program concludes with an update on what is still the major health crisis facing the world today, AIDS, and discrimination against AIDS patients. Hosted by Peter Jennings.
