Gardening program hosted by Jim Wilson and joined by Bob Smaus, Roger Swain, Lucinda Mays and Peter Seabrook as international travel correspondent. Series chef is Marion Morash. The Boston-based Victory Garden (w/ Roger Swain) is located at a private residence; Victory Garden South is at Callaway Gardens in Pine Mountain, Georgia; Victory Garden West is at Roger's Garden Center in Corona del Mar, California. Program Description

In this premiere episode, Roger Swain discusses spring pruning and post snow storm cleanup. He also sows tomato seeds in the greenhouse. Jim Wilson tours from the Fairchild Botanic Garden in Coral Gables, Florida with William Klein, director of the garden. He shows how they have handled the devastation wreaked by Hurricane Andrew on their remarkable collection of plants .
