To understand what has happened to Cuba, one must understand what has happened to its controversial and charismatic leader, Fidel Castro. The story of one of the world's longest lasting dictators - from the early days when his small guerrilla band launched a revolution from the Sierra Maestra Mountains to the present day as Cuba's defiant leader. With its economy under siege, the Cuban Revolution has turned into a struggle for food for its people.
