These local authorities of the genre keep the weekend's wee hours alive with cool/hip/straight-ahead jazz sounds.

Program Description

Host Jack Woker serves up a jazzy blend of Gershwin tunes from honky-tonk to crazy-rhythm classics.

Note: In a related live event on Oct. 2nd, Jazz Gallery's Ron Gill hosted a Gershwin 100th Birthday Dance Party at the Ritz Hotel. Featuring the Ritz-Carlton Rooftop Orchestra under the direction of Dave Burdett, the event took place on the rooftop over looking the Boston Public Garden.
