Program Description

Radio. Program based around Canadian radio documentary of meeting between Chinese Premier Chou En Lai and Canadian Minister Jean Luc Pepin in Peking, China on 7/2/1971. Meeting is important as it marks significant milestone in the West reestablishing diplomatic relations with China, which ultimately lead to U.S. President Richard Nixon's famous China visit of 1972.
