Host Sixto Escobar speaks on location with Raul Cotto (Chairman of the Council of Administrators of Hispanic Agencies), Angeles Rodrigues (Executive Director of La Alianza Hispana), staff members of Casa Myrna Vazquez (a shelter for battered women), Pablo Calderon (Director of Oficina Hispana de Jamaica Plain, an agency serving the Hispanic population in Jamaica Plain), Pable Cruz (Director of Club Hispano, a youth recreational center in Jamaica Plain), counselor Ethel Torrres and Director Felix Arroyo of Casa Del Sol (an agency offering educational services to the Hispanic population), Jorge Hernandez (Executive Director of Inquilinos Boricuas en Accion, a Hispanic tenant organization in Boston's South End), Rosanna Filiponi (Administrator of Centro Del Cardinal Cushing, Boston' oldest agency serving the Hispanic population because of its mission to serve Cubans leaving Cuba after the revolution), and Salvador Morales (staff member of Concilio Human Services, a drug rehabilitation agency) about the services they offer, their role in the community, and the problems they face in continuing to operate effectively.
