Program Program focuses on three blues musicians: Buddy Guy (guitarist), Junior Wells (harmonica player and vocalist) and Howlin' Wolf (vocalist), all credited with producing music that captures the "everyday" experience of African Americans. Program jumps back and forth between concert footage, host Topper Carew's interviews with Guy and Wells, commentary by Carew on the musicians' songs, and "psychedelic-style" video pieces that serve as visual backdrops for the songs of featured musicians. Produced by Topper Carew. Directed by Conrad White.
