Inhabitant of Another Place

  • Cite

This short work, by choreographer Sam Costa and the Ram Island Dance Company, features the rocky seaside landscape of Maine, into which dancers make brief appearances. They are seen hanging from boulders, leaping through the woods, and jumping atop rocks. Atmospheric original music by F. Karl Boyle accompanies the work.

This was originally created for "Frames of Reference" and was broadcast as a segment of "Dance Journeys" and "Landscape in Motion." It also appeared as a segment of Episode 502 of the 1989 season of "New Television."
