- Our Place in the Sun
- Program Description
The uniquely beautiful island of Martha's Vineyard is the setting for this half-hour retrospective documentary. Visits with descendants of early Oak Bluffs settlers helps trace the establishment of the Black community from the early 1800's to the present. This community has preserved its traditions and outlooks as the Vineyard has changed on all sides. Year-round residents contribute their unique perspective in the story of a place in the sun that has thrived for more than five generations.
