- Program Description
Broadcast July 2003: Emmy award-winning cameraman and first-time director Tom Curran revisits his childhood in Alaska and Cape Cod to trace how he and his siblings dealt with the early death of their father, and the complex range of emotions involved in living up to their late father's expectations of success. The story is crafted from a mixture of super-8 home movies and recreations, contemporary interviews, and verite cinematography which reveals how Curran's pursuit of success has masked his grief and ultimately delayed his true coming of age.
