Next Hurrah, The: A Voter’s Guide to the Mayoral Race
Program Description

First up is a discussion with Larry Di Cara, former city councilor and 1983 mayoral candidate, Mel King (Ray Flynn's opponent that year) and Jack McElliott, executive secretary of the Board of Elections. The second segment is a historic look back on Boston's past mayors by author Jack Beatty ("The Rascal King") and author/historian Doris Kearns Goodwin. Then following biographical sketches and comments from all eight of the mayoral candidates, there will be a discussion with local political reporters, including Marty Nolan ("The Boston Globe"), Kirby Perkins (WCVB), Peter Kadzis ("The Boston Phoenix") and Delores Handy Brown (SAY BROTHER).
