1504, 01/24/2011: In San Diego, two sand-cast Charles Loloma bracelets set with turquoise are valued at $60,000. A man brings in handwritten lyrics to "Stormy Weather", originally penned by his grandfather; the lyrics, on Cotton Club stationery, are appraised for $50,000-$80,000. Marshall Thomas Martin takes host Mark Walberg to the famous San Diego Zoo and teaches him that there's more to Steiff than teddy bears. An English William and Mary great chair made of turned wood is worth $4,000-$8,000, but would be worth over $100,000 if it was American-made. A woman brings a portrait of her grandmother painted by Robert Henri as he was transitioning from the style of William Merritt Chase to the Ashcan School, valued at $250,000-$300,000. 1505, 01/31/2011: Antiques Roadshow visits San Diego, where Rafael Eledge shows host Mark Walberg antique cutlasses on the deck of the USS Midway. Other appraisals include 18th century English jewelry, a ceremonial rug pulled from a dumpter, and a Cherokee bag hand-made in Georgia or Alabama before the Cherokee were forced to migrate to Oklahoma. Additional appraisals include: Desk Attributed to Allen and Brother, ca. 1885 Appraised Value: $7,000; Spalding Bobby Jones Hickory-Shafted Golf Clubs, ca. 1933 Appraised Value: $5,000 - $7,000; George Washington's Inaugural Ball Silk Sash, ca. 1789 Appraised Value: $3,000 - $6,000; Brass Argand Lamp, ca. 1835 Appraised Value: $8,000 - $10,000; Jessie Willcox Smith Oil Painting with Charcoal, ca. 1890 Appraised Value: $125,000.

Other appraisals include a Yelland oil sketch of Monterey, an American embroidered bedspread from 1830, and a copy of Basilius Besler's "Hortus Eystettensis" from 1613, a monumental work of botanical illustration valued at $250,000 to $350,000.
