Toll Collectors Ten current and former toll collectors at the Ted Williams and Sumner Tunnels have been charged with larceny. A seven-month investigation by State Police found the men were stealing between $20 and $150 per collector, per shift. Guests: Daniel Conley, Suffolk District Attorney
Boston Herald Layoffs Yesterday, Boston Herald owner and publisher Pat Purcell said most of its presses are 50 years old and in poor condition and that he plans to outsource printing operations.
